WHO WE ARE:

AHAVAH is a Hebrew word meaning "Love". We believe love is the center of servitude. Ahavah began with a vision from sisters Sonja and Clara. After observing their first birth at the ages of 15 and 16 years old, they discovered their passion for birth and the desire to create change around birth inequalities.

With more than 20 years of service to women in the community, Sonja and Clara became professionally educated, trained and certified on various birthing topics.

Ahavah BirthWorks works to build strong black families by supporting mothers and families holistically during pregnancy up to two years postpartum.
